People ALWAYS want to know what 'the trainer' eats or what kind of workout I do, etc, etc... So here is a little taste of 'what I do'...
Joey's Afternoon Fitness Snack (anybody can make this & its perfect for making at or bringing to 'the office')
- 1/4 cup Steel Cut Organic Oats
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon organic ground flax seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)
Soak oats in water for a few hours (or overnight). Cook in microwave oven for about 2 minutes. Add all other ingredients. Add more water as per your preferences. Stir and eat.
AWESOME! & no more than 250 calories. 8 grams of health promoting fiber. 6 grams of solid protein. So skip the oversized Snickers bar and try Joey's 'Hot-Body' Oats if you are serious about 'being' fit, strong and healthy (from the inside out) for life.
