The Indian village is one of Calgary Stampede's attraction, allowing visitors a glimpse into the traditions and beliefs of the first nations people. Filled with music, colors, tastes and smells of old ways of life (some of which still exist today), the Indian village acts like a huge magnet for lots of people who want to learn, experience and understand...
We visited the village on Sunday, the last day of the Stampede, and attended the closing ceremonies of this amazing section of the Calgary Stampede. This photo is of one of the chiefs who carried an ancient prayer as part of the ceremony. It seems processing the photo to look like it does was a must.
This post is dedicated to my special friend Anne, whom I love and admire. Here's to you, girlfriend! *s*.
