Photo Friday challenge this week is Woman... a photo dear to my heart, since it portrays so well the bond between my mother and myself. It was taken by my brother while I was visiting Israel last November.

Theme Thursday is back, and this week's challenge is Eating. Eating is a passion we all love to be engaged in... and while going out, we like to choose a nice place to indulge this passion...
And while we think of eating, here's a photo of a yummy cheese and strawberry cake Joe made... and took a photo of:

This cute little squirrel was climbing the tree outside our bedroom window, running towards the roof. Joe said he didn't have time to focus better... the little guy was too damn quick... cutely quick *s*.

Today (or rather yesterday) was a sunny winter day, one of those who freezes your butt after few minutes outside, but at the same time looks so bright and beautiful... So that's today's photo:

Taking photos of ice crystals is always intriguing because one can never know how they'll appear in the photo. Much is depending on the settings of the camera. So yesterday Joe "played" with ice crystals on the bedroom window... and here are 2 examples of the results:

For the "Ice forms" photo the settings were:
Exposure time: 1/800s
F-number: 8
ISO: 64
Exposure bias value: -0.3
Focal length: 11.9 mm
For "Ice crystals wonderland"
F-number: 4.5,
and the rest was the same
Hope that helps

• 2003 in photos is a new series... and it's obvious what it's all about, right? Most of the photos in this series were never shown online. They are more kind of snapshots one takes to capture a personal moment or a visited place into one's memory. To us, they mean a lot, since they've captured good impressions of our 2003. Yeap, it wasn't bad at all! *s*... and that's why these photos are here.
• And here is our submission to this week's Photo Friday: Best of 2003 photo. It wasn't easy to choose from all the photos we've taken this year, but finally we did it. Each of us chose his/her own favorite, and here they are:

• And here's the photo of today:

Here is our entry to A day in the life project. It was fun doing it, even though we have only 9 photos (out of the 25 planned)... It was too cold. Enjoy! *s*.
