This statue and 2 others of naked men are new to Calgary. They stand outside Bankers Hall in the downtown area, and became a reason of a mini scandal and controversy in the city. Some people find it un tasteful and inappropriate to see naked men around. "This is not art", they say. We find them very interesting and thought provoking. The artist (a vancouverian) was invited to come and explain what was his inspiration in creating the statues. It'll be interesting to hear what he has to say...

• Every time we drive around the city, I take photos while in motion. The "sports" setting comes very handy in reducing fuzziness, but this time I used a filter to achieve a somewhat dreamy effect.

Calgary has lots of preserved old buildings, a beautiful reminder of its past. One of them is the Bank of Montreal building, located in downtown Calgary at Stephen Avenue mall. Nowadays the building serves the A & B Sound store, and most of the old stuff is kept down at the basement of the building... All, except what couldn't be taken down, and is still out there. What a magnificent view to look at... and take photos of...
