This fence is actually dividing the highway from the mobile home park on the hill... here in Calgary.

This one was taken from the van while driving. Joe was practically trying to get closer to the guy as soon as we noticed his license plate... and he was fast. Anyhow, we thought it was a cool license plate.

Yeap!!! These are Sundogs! We spotted them outside the mall yesterday, 4:29 pm, and Joe took few shots. Exposure time was 1/1000 s, and that's how it turned out. Click for the large version.

wow that's really amazing! and the pink shape above the sun almost has a face, looks like kind-of like Mother Mary actually, though you'd never hear that from me!

• Photo Friday challenge for this week is posted. Here's Perspective.
• The photo of today is an outcome of the fact we couldn't come up with any idea for Theme Thursday's challenge this week, Desperation. So, being desperate, I went through our archives, and found this photo of myself, which was taken by my brother while I was visiting Israel last November. The thing is... he was taking my photos in spite of my loud objections. It was morning, and I looked like my worst enemy's problems, and I really didn't want him to take my photo!!! Bro had his little fun, and we all laughed about it later.
So with a bit of a tweak... here's my illegal version of Desperation.

Nice. Very eerie. I like the delicate glow of light in the darkness.

Yesterday was Feb. 29th... a Leap Day. Another reason for another A Day in the Life project from sh1ft.org. "February 29 only comes around every leap year", says Tracey, "so it's time to do something out of the ordinary! Do something you wouldn't normally do and document your day through an hourly photograph".
Originally, Joe had to work the day, but after I asked him to take it off so we can do the project, he managed to change his days off this week. Sssssoooo... we had a lovely leap day, and here are the photos to prove it... and share *s*.
Isn't the net - and us who live here - crazy???!!! *s*...
