• We're almost too late with last week's Photo Friday challenge, Self portrait... but here it is *s*.

• Theme Thursday challenge for this week is Oops. While going through our files (since Oops photos can't be planned in advance), we've found few Oops photos we didn't publish before. For Theme Thursday challenge we entered the cow's behind........................... How can one come so close to a cow's behind, and resist the urge the take a photo?... Oops *s*.

Holocaust Remembrance Day started in Israel and all over the world last night, and ends tonight.. On this day, the Israeli and Jewish nation officially commemorates and remembers the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis and their helpers during WW2, as well as those who rose up in revolt against the Nazi barbarism.

The Jewish community of Calgary (which counts around 7,000 members) also had a ceremony yesterday at Calgary's Jewish center, and later at the Beth Tzedec synagogue, and we attended it as well.

We will never forget them... No one should... because by forgetting - we allow history to repeat itself! The Jewish nation - as all other nations - can't allow it.
