Few photos have ever been more aptly named than "Perfection". You constantly outdo yourself. Some of the recent 'wood' photos are among my favorites. Have a lovely weekend... much love is sent your way.

Though we're late, here's our submission to i-gizmo's challenge for Saturday, July 31: Children.

And the photo of today is of Chestermere Lake. It's one of these photos you don't keep on your hard drive for more than 2 seconds after you've seen it's out of focus... but I kept this one. I don't know... I like it *s*.

Of course, I'm somewhat prejudiced in favor of the subject, but "Children" is still quite marvelous.

Our new 26 things project page is online!!! Please check it out and let us know which photos you love best *s*... and click here to see other submissions as well. Another great project idea from sh1ft.org.

Yesterday we took a day trip to Red Deer, a city located 159 km north of Calgary. One of the attractions we enjoyed tremendously was the City Hall park, with it's gorgeous flower beds. This was one of the most amazing gardens we've ever seen... and we both saw the Butchart Gardens in Vancouver Island. This is a much smaller garden, but the assembly of different flowers in the flower beds is a work of a genius! Here are some photos... We'll post some more later...

We sure saw lots of trees in our summer trips. Most of them were alive... Some weren't anymore...
