Working on the pages... The series now have a separate page, and so do the galleries. Changing the look of them a bit as well.

• Photo Time Tuesday for this week is Late night... and... we also have a new submission to The Mirror project.
• These signs made so much sense to me, since... I have the Original Joe ;-)). So it seemed only natural to combine those 3 photos together... no? *s* (... and mind you, this is one photo of himself that Joe likes... for a change ;-)).

Those are fresh from this (yesterday's) morning. Marda loop area had a street festival... lots of color, yummy smells and people, though it was cloudy and cool out there. When I saw this woman with the little pug inside her coat, I thought of Faith and Boris...

On our day trip to Red Deer, Alberta a week ago we saw (aside from the magnificent flowers park by the city hall) a huge life size sculpture. After reading on the net, that's what we've learned:
| The Red Deer Downtown Business Association (DBA) boasts an internationally renowned Bronze Art collection in Downtown Red Deer, Alberta. The Ghost project is sponsored and managed by the DBA and is an amazingly unique and fascinating program. The Ghost Project depicts the history of the community and offers audiences one of the largest life-size bronze sculpture collections in Canada. The Ghost sculptures are forever growing in popularity and attract thousands of inquisitive travelers every year (Experience Downtown Red Deer). |
The one we saw was on the south side of the City Hall Park, in front of the Children's Library. It depicts volunteer fire fighters harness the team to answer the fire bell. The intensity of the moment is reflected in the expressions of the men and the taut muscles of the horses.

Cat
The many faces of the Siberian Tiger... I probably mentioned it before. It is my most favorite animal! To me, it IS the king! Its power, its majestic body, its colors - all make it the most wonderful animal. The sad part it - it might not be around for long...
