Today we bring you 3 photos from the macro - world around Moraine lake, Banff National Park. Seeing the macro/close up shots on the screen always bring surprises.... there is so much beauty in the little details, that we actually don't see most of the time.

Two days ago, in a hay field close to our place, around sunset. It's just outside the neighborhood, but looks like the country side when you look deep into the field. And of course, twilight moments make it look even more beautiful.

Another place we visited on Saturday was Vermilion lakes, just outside the town of Banff. We were there around 6 pm, and boy - you should've seen the amount of gear that was there, all set up on tripods, waiting for the perfect moment of the sunset. It was amazing to see all these photographers standing there with their huge lenses, hoping to shoot the perfect photo. We tried too *s*.

We've found a photo gallery of another Calgarian, Gary Hebert, with lots of marvelous photos from Banff national park (many places we shoot as well). Visit him... you'll be more than happy you did! The guy is a wizard with the camera, and he uses Olympus as well. We wanna be Gary Hebert when we grow up *s*.

Yeap, there are lots of beautiful places in this world, and Alberta is blessed with quite few of them. We feel blessed too to live here! :-))
