Yesterday we took a day trip to Moraine lake, Banff National Park. It was the first time we walked along the shores of the lake to its other end, so we got the chance to see its different faces... different from the classic look everyone takes photos of.
It was an ode day for photography. Though there were great fluffy clouds in the gorgeous blue sky, their forms were shifting constantly. The sun came out and went covered in short intervals and the light (colors) changed accordingly. Each time we looked at the lake, it seemed different, and that was amazing! The color of the water went from deep green to emerald to blue... the ever-changing face of Moraine lake was shown to us with all its glory.
Here are 3 photos from the bunch we took yesterday. We hope you'll enjoy them *s*.

Thanks, guys :-)).
Derrick, that's the color the lake showed itself at that particular moment. It changed all the time because of the clouds, but Moraine is well known for its gorgeous shades of green/blue/emerald.

Since we're quite busy this week with the upcoming wedding, and we're also on holidays, we won't have much time to post every day. So... we leave you with 7 new photos from Kananaskis country, a 4250 square kilometers area, located 90 kilometers west of Calgary right on the south eastern corner of Banff National Park. It's a recreational area which supplies opportunities for outdoor activities all year round. The scenery of the Rockies and valleys is just breathtaking, and everyone can find some activity to their liking.
We hope you'll enjoy this collection, taken along the last 2 months, and we'll be back next week.

In one word beautiful. Love the leafless tree in the front...

I like these type of landscape photography. The asymmetry caused by the hill is very well balanced by the tree in the front plane.

Ok, so no camping for us this week. We're still here, and might take off for a day trip or two. The reasons? Joe's daughter is getting married on Saturday, and we were busy doing some wardrobe shopping for the last few days. The result? We're going to be one gorgeous cute elegant couple on Saturday, all dressed up. Yes, we will! ;-).
And besides, the weather doesn't play ball in our field this week. Two areas we wanted to visit - one is rainy, the other is hot as hell. And on top of it all, I pulled a muscle this morning, and I'm not a happy camper right now. So... we are here *s*.
And... This is our 2,000th photo post. It's from last April, and I've played with it. Yes, the city looks blue on the original... I didn't color it at all.
What a hell of a journey this is! We're still having lots of fun clicking around, and we'd like to thank all of you who come around to check on us and share the sights... We'll continue showing you more in the future.

Congrats on the 2000th photo!! At my 'one-pic-a-day' rate, it'll be another 5 years until I get to that!
To another 2000 more!
