Latest Alberta photos from ren and daisies reminded me of our day trip along highway # 93 on May 30, 2005, and the fact there are few more photos we wanted to post from that day. So here are three photos from the fabulous Bow lake, surrounded by mountains still covered with some snow at this time of the year.

Blue... in a good sense...

We can't help it... We have to! He's so cute, and while he grows (already 7.5 months), his cuteness level is rising to new heights *s*. We can't wait to hear his first words.

Look world... I can do it myself!

What did you say?

really really cute! I would have posted the second pic as the main one, though. It's more lovely.

What do you know? On Monday, we went out for a bike ride in the morning, along the Bow river. Around noon, we stopped for a rest at EauClaire Market, downtown, and found out there was a free meal for Calgarians, served by the Alberta Beef association, or something like that. It was to honor Alberta's centennial, and 2005 hamburgers were waiting to be served. We stood in line, and had our free lunch, which was quite yummy *s*.
Of course, there were lots of media people around to cover the occasion for the news... and one of them "dared" to point his Sony video camera right into our faces, LOL *s*. So... I shoot him too ;-).

You shoot me... I shoot you!

The shooter shoots the shooter. Nice one. My husband and I do that sometimes, me with the photocamera, him with the video.

A new series from our trip to the USA on May 2005 is ready. We sure take our time with the trip photos, don't we? *s*. Anyway, there are 10 photos in this series, which were taken on May 13, 2005, at the Horseshoe Bend, AZ, USA.
You can read some info about this amazing place on the series page. I'd like to point out that the photo bellow is a stitching of 2 photos, lengthwise, taken and stitched by Joe. The guy has an immense patience for these kind of tedious job, which I don't *s*. Me thinks it came out just superb, no?

The post processing extravaganza continues... *s*. What can I say? It brings out all that we feel towards our hometown, in a most wonderful way. Calgary is a gorgeous city... It offers so many photo opportunities, and we love it to pieces!
Both photos were converted to B & W, then blended with the original in a color mode, and the regular sharpening, dodging and burning were added. That's it *s*.

Due to the choice for B&W it is like an old photo. I like that a lot.
