It was a cold evening, and the moon was three days away from its full "figure". The sun was setting down, and that's the reason for the warm colors on the wall.

I'm re-posting this photo today, this time in color, for a reason. I've posted it a year ago in B & W, because I loved this photo a lot, but the original was overexposed at the sky area, and it seemed there was nothing I could to to salvage this photo, but to post it in B & W.

Anyways, here is the original, with gorgeous skies and magnificent Rocky mountains, and I'm very pleased with the fact I was able to process this photo and rescue it! I think I've come a long way in the area of photo processing in the last few months, even if I say so myself ;-). Nice... very pleased indeed! *s*.

I was playing with the camera that night, trying different setting to capture this warm glow of the lamp.

I like how this photo turned out. This Alberta rose, so shy in the shade, while the world around it is so sunlit.

Sigh... Those days of summer seem so far away now... Hope you like it too :-)).

It was a fine afternoon, and we were sitting above the Glenmore reservoir, letting the sun caressing our faces. These guys were climbing the trail from the lake to the bank, laughing and puffing... and Joe snatched a photo. It was right into the sun, and we kind of like the way the photo turned out... half silhouettes, light and shadows playing... nice *s*.

Nice one. Love the choice of taking the photo from behind. Makes you wonder what the looks on the faces is.

That is such a cute photo! The little grandson's off in his own little innocent world not needing to worry because grandpa's there to look out for him.

So the stars ruled the skies the other night (yesterday's post), and as I mentioned, when we looked to the east, we saw a marvel of starry skies. This photo was taken with a tripod, manual mode, exposure time - 16s, f/1.8, ISO 64, flash fired.

And today, when I prepared it for posting, I stumbled upon the next photo which is waiting for posting, and thought it was the opposite of the photo above, a complementary piece of a sort. So there it is:
