Photo Friday challenge for March 11, 2005 is Faces. It's a revision of this photo, or better yet, the original from which
this photo was converted to B & W.

This photo was taken during the Carifest parade in downtown Calgary last summer. The Caribbean communities in
the city celebrate every year at the beginning of June, for a week or so, and the Carifest parade opens the
festivities. It's a celebration of culture, arts and music from the Caribbean Islands, and a wonderful way to bring
communities close together in hearts.

We love this photo. This little girl had a wonderful facial expression at the moment the photo was captured (just
before the parade started), and that's why we bring it back again, this time in color.

I love this close up shot. its so real that she 's like saying "hi" to me. well it helps when you have a big monitor. I
love the efx of the glitters.
