Sherle writes: "Darren suggested this week's theme... "something that represents your town/village/city to you, be it a
landmark/hidden gem/feeling/people..." I just love this idea so PhotoTime Tuesday celebrates theme #44 with a visitation
to your Home Town".
Every time I send photos to my mom over the net, she says: "Did you take a photo of this tower again???!!!". Without
noticing, Calgary Tower is the one building/place/landmark we shoot the most. "Officially opened on June 30th, 1968, the
"Tower " has become the City of Calgary's most famous and identifiable physical landmark".

It's amazing! Now tell me... are those windows in it? Can you go up there and look down?

That is so awesome! What is up there? I like the blue, blue sky in the third photo.

Ok, I've put a link to the tower's online site, but I'll let you know anyway...
Where the windows are... This is the Observation Deck. It's 160 metres (525 feet) above the ground and encircles the inner core
of the Tower. From this vantage point you have a 360 degree view of the cityscape. On clear days you are able to see beyond
150 km (93 miles) unassisted, which means you can see the Rocky Mountains and some of our Neighboring cities and towns.
There's also a revolving restaurant up there, which is great for special celebrations, though too expensive )
