Action

Lake Minnewanka, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada August 14, 2004 Taken by Joe

A herd of Big horn sheep stampeding on the road between Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake, Banff
national park. No idea what made them run like that. Those animals are so used to people, you can come
close to them, and they don't give a damn. It's amazing how well the herd is doing. We see new babies every
year when we visit there. So here is our "Action" submission to PTT this week.

They were probably running to get closer to the tourists with food :-)

I was in Banff a week ago. The sheep are generally pretty tranquil and don't even seem to notice people.

Great action shot!
