Calgarians were honored with the presence of the Prime Minister and the Premier for the official opening of the
ceremonies. Why? One would've thought they'll attend the ceremonies in Edmonton, the capital of Alberta. Well, they
were in Edmonton in the morning, and then flew into Calgary. Busy people they are *s*.

We were so lucky to stand so close to the main stage, very close to our celebrities. For me, it was the first time I've seen
a Prime Minister in person... I was excited, and so were all the people in the Olympic Plaza.
