About this series:
This series is from our trip to the USA on May 2005. All photos were taken on May 18, 2005, at the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, USA.
These two parks are wonderful to visit. We've been there 6 years ago (June 1999), and we were anxious to visit again. But, the weather wasn't on our side this time. It was cold, gray and rainy the whole 2 days we drove around the parks. Our plan was to spend at least 3 days there, maybe 4, but in the morning of the third day we decided there was no use to keep driving around in the rain, so we ended our trip earlier and headed home.
The truth is, Yellowstone looks great with its winter coat. The cold air makes the mist coming from the geysers thicker, and most of the time we felt we were on a horror movie set. It was special in a bizarre way, so all in all we can safely say we enjoyed the wintery face of Yellowstone, though we were a bit disappointed we didn't have enough light to shoot better photos. In any case, we managed to take few photos we like, and here they are.
