About this series

Del Bonita is located some 300 km south of Calgary. It is one of Alberta's port of entry on the Alberta/Montana border, on Highway 62. The town itself sits 3 km from the border's post.

We first read about Del Bonita on the Ghost Towns of Alberta site, where a link was posted to Del Bonita Historical Stores site. Few days later, on April 7, 2005, we had a day trip to south Alberta, and we stopped at Del Bonita to take some photos. Though there are few people still living there, it's a ghost town in a way... one that might be saved and rebuild... at least for tourism purpose (If you'd like to read more about Del Bonita, check this link).

This series include 23 photos, in 14 pages. Click the upper left thumbnail, and begin your journey into Del Bonita.

Now I've seen three!! it's amazing the church is still standing tall and proud, one wouldn't think it's in a ghost town. Ghost towns amazes me as there is never one in my home country.
