About this series:

This series is from our trip to the USA on May 2005. All 11 photos were taken on May 9, 2005, at Salt lake city, Utah, on the grounds of the Mormon temple.

Melanie Cooper tells: "In July of 1847, the first company of Latter-day Saint pioneers stepped foot in the Salt Lake Valley. Within a few days of arriving, their leader, Brigham Young, waved his hand over a hard, dry spot of ground and announced, "This is the right place." Forty-six years later, on that precise location, the Salt Lake Temple was dedicated unto the Lord as a sacred house of worship".

We actually drove through Salt Lake city. We didn't plan to have a real visit there, but we wanted to stop at the temple and take few photos, since we visited before, and we knew it was worth seeing again. We had an hour. The weather was quite gray and wet, but still... the view was magnificent, and the temple gardens were in full bloom.
