Thursday Challenge for December 9, 2004, is Light. Here's a photo of the first candle of Hanukkah taken by Joe last
night . And of course, we had to rejoice on those yummy jelly filled sufganiot (doughnuts), and exchange holiday
cards.

Joe made the Hanukkia (candle holder) for me just before the first Hanukkah we celebrated together in Canada. He
used some scrap wood and copper pipe caps, and I was using it since then, though I have another silver fancy one.
I love this simple wooden Hanukkia... because for me... it represents love and togetherness.
