Thursday Challenge for January 20, 2005, is Shadow. This photo was taken on a mountain trail above Johnston
Canyon in Banff National Park. What I remember the most from that moment is we were out there all alone... no
other people around... and I was damn scared we might meet a bear. There was a sign down the mountain, were
the trail to the canyon starts. The sign said: "Beware of bears!". Lord, I was scared... so we cut our hike short,
turned back half way and went down the mountain.

Call me a chicken, but I don't want to meet a bear face to face, unless there's a big fence between us. That's how I
am ;-)).
