we have a house like that near here, though it's twice as big, without the -um- interesting green details, and it's
more of a flaming royal grape purple. We call it the Prince House, and I have to laugh every time I see it.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I sure thought this house had a bald statement, and told Joe it seemed there
were very original people living there. I mean, purple house? You don't see that around much!
