The ring was my dad's... I think he got it from his grandpa as a gift when he got engaged to my mom. Back
then, it carried dad's initials, of course.

When Joe and I declared we're getting married, my mom decided to change the initials on the ring, and give it
to Joe as a wedding gift. Joe was moved to no end...

So... when we realized the next Theme Thursday was Ring... we had the right thing to shoot. The photo?
Those are my mom and dad... when they were still courting... In the uniform of the Israeli army. Many many
many years ago.

Beautiful. I love how the flower looks completed in the ring in the bottom photo - the reflection is perfectly
positioned.

I was really surprised by how few people took photos of rings that you wear on your finger for this week's theme. I
love rings because they so often have a great story behind them - like yours!
