Bailey & Jim

On the Aggie Days exhibition at the Stampede site, Bailey the buffalo and his owner Jim Sautner were having a good time inside the arena, while Jim's wife Linda was telling the audience about their pet buffalo, who has become very famous worldwide..

Jim and Linda Sautner are the proud owners of Bailey, a nearly four-year-old buffalo, who likes to spend his time inside the couple's home, about 20 kilometers west of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta. The couple rescued Bailey as a baby, after the calf was abandoned by his mother. They bottle-fed Bailey with milk daily and by the time he was weaned of milk, they found out he kept his calm nature, and was happy to spend time with them around - and inside - their home. They decided to keep him...
