Day of the scale 5 + measurements
Ok, here we go again. The last 2 weeks since my last weigh-in were strange, to say the least. On the first week I had my period. Then, we had a buffet dinner. Also, I had a private pig out feast on my own the night before. I gained 3.2 lbs, I lost them again, and this morning, the scale showed a lost of 0.8 lbs from two weeks ago. Strange strange times indeed.
Ok... I'm ok with this, and know very well what led to it. Case closed, looking for tomorrow now. I think, though, I have to have a closer look on what I eat. Maybe it is time to write it down and see the ratio of Carbohydrates / Protein / Fats I consume. And... it sure is time to start pumping some iron... Yeap!!!
These are the numbers I've come up with today:
» 0.8 lbs lost since the last weigh-in (March 1, 2007).
» Starting Weight: 187 lbs, Current Weight: 153.4 lbs, Goal Weight: 130 lbs.
» 33.6 lbs lost in 18.5 weeks (58.94% of the amount of lbs I want to lose), an average of 1.82 lbs loss per week.
» 23.4 lbs left to goal.
Since I'm doing my best to come up with an appropriate weights plan, I decided to record my measurements today, so I'll have some numbers to compare to when the time comes to see the results of my dumbbells training (when I start this thing). I asked Joe to use the measurements tape on me, and wrote them down side by side with my old numbers.

It seems my legs develop muscles nicely just from the cardio I do, and that pleases me to no end. The fact I'm able to walk outside up a hill and not gasp for air - priceless. I now do more bike training as well - want to get ready for summer and for our rides outside. Can hardly wait for that!!! *s*.
