I'm thankful when most countries are trying to pass sanctions on Israel, that the United States is there to veto it. The rest of the world has really lined up to give Israel crap. But the United States sees what a great people the Israelis are. Its undeniable that this is due to the fact that most Americans are Christians. Americans are much more religious than are European Allies. And most of us see attacks on Israel as attempts by the antichrist, to harm god's people.

Just wanted the people of Israel to know that there are a few of us in the world that don't buy into the propaganda preached by the terrorists and their eager world mouthpiece, the UN. I'm agnostic, so I have no religious ties pulling me toward one side nor the other. What really gets me is the hypocrisy of those supporting the terrorist with pleas for "the innocent civilians." I don't know if any Israeli officials have ever authorized targeting of civilians or not, but I do know that the terrorists include civilians in their tactics, and intentionally use them as shields, and even they cannot hide their offensive tactics which almost always explicitly target civilians. No doubt any individual in Europe that is so vocal and adamant in their support of the "poor" Palestinian people would demand the same if not more from their national defense forces if put in the same situation as Israel. Ignore the hypocrites, and good luck in the struggles that are constantly forced upon you.

The Israelis know that if you are going after an enemy, you do so fast, knock the heck out of him, then go in and kill him.

If that enemy is like the Palestinian Hamas who cowardly hides among the civilian population, there will be some unfortunate civilian casualties. That cannot be helped and it is Hamas, not Israel who is to blame.

Those uninformed who support Hamas rather than Israel either do not understand or do not want to understand that it is Israel, not Hamas, who prays for peace. I wonder if they would change their minds if their families were subject to the same terrorist attacks that the Israeli citizens are.

General George Patton once said, "May God have mercy upon my enemies because I will not." Israel should have no mercy when it comes to Hamas.

In closing, we need to support Israel to the fullest extent in their attempt to eliminate the Hamas terrorists. Let as many of the terrorists as possible be disappointed when they find there are no 72 virgins in Heaven because so many US and Israeli heroes got there first.

I wanted to write and let someone, anyone in Israel know that there are many millions of us here in the United States that support Israel and your response to the relentless, illogical and religiously based atrocities of Hamas, Hezbullah and the majority of the radical Arab/Islamic world.

At one time I had felt that the Palestinians needed and deserved a homeland of their own. Free and Independent where they could establish a secure future for themselves and their children. That changed after the attacks of 9/11/01. I will never forget the images of Palestinians dancing and rejoicing in the streets when innocent civilians were slaughtered by the spawn of these very evil religious zealots.

My advice to all of Israel is that only total victory over your enemies will bring lasting peace. You must defeat them beyond their ability to regroup, negotiate or even appeal for outside help. If you have to, go into Gaza with everything you have, level every structure till there is nothing left and no place to hide. Then insist on complete, unconditional surrender. Once you have done this then you can think about following Americas example after World War Two. We utterly defeated the Axis and then we rebuilt them, reeducated them and put them on a footing to enable them to establish lasting, strong and capable government administrations.

It would be best if war could be avoided, but since it cannot be avoided, it must be accomplished with the same resolve and vigor of General Sherman. As a Union commander during the Civil war in America, General Sherman leveled every town, farmstead, village and piece of infrastructure he and his troops encountered. He burnt crops and salted fields. He destroyed bridges, railroads, flour mills, farming equipment and anything the population could use to sustain themselves.

Israel should eliminate any hope of the people of Gaza to be able to sustain themselves, hide, resist or otherwise do anything but surrender unconditionally. Once they do that, then you can restructure them into a prosperous, free and peaceful enclave.

Good luck to you all in Israel, I hope your countrymen take this advice.
