Mackenzie town is a relatively new neighborhood in Calgary. It is built in an old European style, and had been chosen to serve as one of the locations of a Steven Seagal's movie few years back.

• Photo Friday challenge for this week is Industrial. A huge pile of salt (harvested from the sea) is laying outside the plant, right on the shore of the Dead Sea, Israel.
• Here are some night shots from downtown Calgary, taken last Saturday. Since they were all taken from the van, we also submitted them to the Windscreen Gallery gallery.
