Ones a month we like to go out for dinner, and stuff our faces with whatever our hearts desire (the rest of the time we like to eat healthy, you know ;-)). So a month ago we'd chosen this little family restaurant called Humpty's.
As we were led to our table, we saw this couple who just finished their dinner and went on reading the newspaper and doing the crossword puzzle. Later, we tried to decide what to order from the menu, and while waiting for our food, Joe played with the camera. Of course, he had to be discreet...
The food was ok... just ok... and while we left, night was falling down on the city. All in all... we had a nice evening *s*.

The photos of today were taken at Ghost lake last weekend. At this time, the huge man made lake is still covered with ice, but the view of it and the Rockies in the background is gorgeous as ever.
Ghost Lake is located 35 km west of Calgary in the Stoney Indian land. It was created by putting a dam on the Bow River in 1929. The lake is 28 square km in size and is loaded with fish. Summertime finds it crowded with boaters, wind surfers, water skiers and campers just having fun swimming in its water.
Ghost Lake is well known for taking human lives, since it tends to turn into a very windy lake in just few minutes. You can't be too careful while on this lake!
