We took a trip to Big Rock near Okotoks yesterday... again... this time with the family. As I told about this place before, 18 km south of Calgary is where you find the town of Okotoks ("big rock" in the Siksika language). 10 kilometers west of it you can find Big Rock, the largest glacial erratic in the world (More photos we took of Big Rock near Okotoks you can find here, on the March 29th post. Colors were different then, of course, at the end of winter).

• Photo Time Tuesday this week is Pathways. We're still on vacation, driving all over the place, so getting a pathway photo was so easy. Here it is:

• And here are some flowers photos from our journeys, taken at different places like Kensington Rd. and the zoo in Calgary, Elbow falls, and Barrier Lake in Kananaskis country. Alberta is so beautiful!!! *s*...

Yesterday we've visited Heritage Park here in Calgary. This is an historical village re-creating life before 1914... Visitors can experience the sights and sounds of life at the turn of the century. Interesting place to see if you visit Calgary. We've spent 8 hours of walking around, riding the old train and river boat, asking questions and getting lots of explanations... It was fun ! *s*...
Here are some photos... more to follow soon:
