At times like this (full lunar eclipse), we sure wish we had a camera which is capable of zooming (and coming close enough) to the moon. Taking photos of the moon is hard enough as it is... having a camera which is not SLR - does make it harder.

Joe tried tonight (yesterday)... and that's what our camera saw.

I like the fence in the composition. Excellent capture. (My fingers are still thawing :-))

One pleasant way of spending time together at home in winter time is to put on fire in the fireplace, snuggle together on the sofa, watch a movie and sip wine. And, if it snows outside, the curtains are pulled open, and the gorgeous scene of the outside is invited in.

Warm, cosy, sparkly flames whisper and dance in the dark. We can stare at the flames for hours. Their ever-changing shapes and forms are mesmerizing! And now... we photo them as well *s*.

Photo Time Tuesday is closing its doors, and the last challenge is Finale. We're truly sorry to see this meme - which we enjoyed very much - cease to exist, but we guess it's its time... After all, all good things come to an end sometime. Thank you so much, Sherle, for maintaining and managing PTT for so long. We had a great time with it *s*.

We had the most spectacular snowfall yesterday morning... the biggest flakes I've ever seen here in Canada... and I was so excited!!! I couldn't believe my own eyes. It was just THE MOST gorgeous scene out there! When we went out to take few photos, the silence outside was striking! There was no wind, sea of huge flakes were coming vertically down... and the world watched in total silence! Spectacular!!!

That was our morning, but the afternoon was a different story. The sun came out, bringing along some blue skies... so we set on a hill across from the river, overlooking downtown. The day was beautiful (with all its faces)... life felt good. Did I mention before I love winter? *s*.
