It's hard to choose the one photo one likes best. Each photo we posted here along 2004 is special to us... a moment frozen in time, an experience which lives in our memories, but still... Here are some we loved in particular. Click each thumbnail to see the large version, and hit the "back" button to come back here.
We wish you all a wonderful new year. May it brings you whatever your hearts desire... May it be better than the one which ends tonight. See you around in 2005 *s*.

• Thursday Challenge for today is Toys. This nutcracker is one of the gifts Joe got me for Christmas. For some reason I love them nutcrackers a lot... maybe because of Tchaikovsky's ballet music I love so much.

• Quiet evening by the fireplace... The old and wonderful "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" movie on TV... Some melted Toblerone chocolate and cream puffs... Life is good!
... And with a bit of imagination, one can ride the wild horse to seek adventures.

It was a snowy Christmas night yesterday, and after a lazy day indoors and a yummy Christmas meal we went out for a drive. We enjoyed the lights decor on houses and buildings, and at one point we ended up by the Glenmore reservoir. The lake is all frozen by now, and the area was dark. The camera was on auto, and because of the moist in the air and the reflection of the snow, that's what we ended up with. Do you see those four tiny dots (three on the right and one between the trees)? Those are the lights on the other side of the lake. It was a magical night sight indeed!

• So yesterday we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. The solution we came up with (for the pain I'm still in thanks to this dental work I went through few days ago) was for me to have a yummy sweet creamy dessert! No, no... First, I shared Joe's meal by having his mashed potatos with gravy. Worked fine for me. Then, we had only 1 glass of wine since I'm not allowed to have alcohol at this time, so I only had few sips. And then... the heavenly dessert! I had a Rolo ice-cream cake topped with chocolate and whipped cream. Oh lord... I was in heaven indeed *s*.
And in between... we took some photos.

Happy 5th

Today we celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. It's hard for me to "celebrate" while I'm still in pain thanks to this dental work I went through few days ago, but still... The pain of today is nothing but a temporary sensation.... Feeling happy with each other is something we share since the day we met, and hopefully - those feelings are "stuck" with us *s*... so, today we celebrate!
And, we want to do it with a smile *s*. This photo is a merge of two photos we took of each other. It symbolizes us to no end... it's our life together since we met... sharing a great love for the outdoors and the Canadian Rockies, spending our free time together exploring every corner we can get to. This is us... This is our life... This is our 5th wedding anniversary! *s*.

It was around +6C outside last night. I took a strong pain killer, and I felt much better for a while... so I asked Joe if he'd like going out for a walk, take a breath of fresh air and watch the neighborhood lights. He agreed. We've found some gorgeously decorated homes, and took few shots, but weren't happy with most of them, but still - here are two of them.
