The tower looks like a flight control tower, but an airport in downtown Alberta? What kind of tower is it.

The monochrome is a good choice, gives it an authentic look.

That would be the Calgary Tower... it's been around for quite some time now, and it shows. The monochrome
certainly covers the out of date paint job of the tower. Oh wait, I believe they painted it recently, right?

Anyways, for awhile it was the tallest building in the city, before Petro Canada, and Banker's Hall.

Chantal, the Calgary Tower is a tourist attraction. It's a great place to visit and see the city from above and the
mountains to the west, and have a nice meal... and of course take lovely photos of the city

Mike, the tower is freshly painted red, and looks great... and now they're going to add a new observation deck to it,
which will be transparent, and fun to stand on... like you stand on air, you know

I like the perspective and the slight dreamy feel of this image.

I was in downtown Calgary area last weekend but my group has a different agenda so I didn't really had the chance
to wander around and shoot. That means no close encounter with this tower and the other photo-worthy places in
Calgary. I only saw the tower from afar :'(
