Spruce Meadows is a world class equestrian facility in Calgary, which was ranked #1 in the world in 2002. This
place hosts major riding and jumping tournaments each year, and is a huge attraction for every horse lover....
We spent a Saturday there, watched a dressage competition in the facility, and also visited the stables... and
of course took lots of photos.

When we came home to check our "crops", we've found out it wasn't our lucky day. We still need to learn how
to take photos of bodies in motion... rapid motion.

But... I loved few of the photos, and didn't want to trash them all, so I "played" some computer magic on them
and created some horses "oil paintings". Check them out if you like...

I like the first one best...it makes me think "sleek". wonderful photos and I really like the effects you
used on them for your oil paintings page. I grew up with horses and have the love instilled down deep.

I love horses, I can't ride, I wanted to learn but my mom thought it was way much to expencive and
was afraid I would stop in no time I am still wanting to learn one day but now my weight is a hold
back for me and the horse, I would never do that to a horse being overweight and sit on it';s back and ride it
