Summer is finally here
Our Peony bloomed with 11 flowers this year... makes my heart sing. It's a gorgeous big flower with a vivid bright pink and yellow colors! And our little garden is coming along nicely. We always start with baby flowers and watch them grow as summer progresses. The yard becomes more colorful by the day, and it sure sets lots of satisfaction into my heart, since I'm the one to work the garden and try to make it grow. The yard looks good and it makes me happy to sip my first morning coffee and last night coffee out there, sitting on the bench, taking in some deep breaths of fresh air, and just enjoying some quiet time with Joe.
I've realized a long time ago one very important thing: What I need for success (no matter in what area of life), is from time to time to have me some calmness, relaxation, tranquility, joy... some quiet rejuvenating time. And to top it all with some happiness if possible too. Makes me relax, feel younger, and helps me get through hard times.
All is going well here. The scale registered 142 lbs this morning. I'm not losing much... keeping the status quo. And that's fine. I'm pleased. Still on top of my workouts, and trying to go out more, now that the weather is getting nicer.
We're talking about executing a challenge I've assigned to myself very soon. More about that when the time comes. I think I'm going to be ready very soon, and in 2 weeks Joe is going to have a week off of work, so this will be a good time to do it *s*.
