• wordPhoto.org's word for yesterday was Normal... and yes, that's a normal sight to capture when one goes to Calgary's Stampede Park. We had a visit there yesterday to look around the Aggie Days exhibition. Aggie days are a free celebration of agriculture and farm life. Great for kids and adults as well, since it brings farm life close to people, who can ask questions and learn more about the farmers and cowboys of Alberta.

You should've seen this huge beast playing around like a puppy dog. I was so amazed! Its owner said it (the buffalo) actually had chosen this kind of life. It just loved to be around them, showed a friendly behavior, and that's why they decided to keep it close.

• The photos of today are of man's beloved 4 legged friends. The first was taken while driving. The second was taken at Bragg Creek, and though it's hard to see, the sign to the right says: "The red room, pets and people inn". Cute *s*.

Last Sunday we visited Bragg Creek and the Elbow falls, about an hour drive west of Calgary. Bragg Creek is a beautiful small community located in the forest, and the Elbow falls are a natural pearl... wild country, untouched... gorgeous. Lots of trees... Here are some:
