Finally, the Bryce Canyon series is complete! It took us sometime to prepare the photos for publishing, since it wasn't easy to choose which we loved the most. After all, we took so many of them in this place. So, there are 46 photos in this series now, and we're truly hopeful you'll take the time to see them, and hopefully - enjoy yourselves as much as we did seeing this marvel of a place *s*.
We're going to take few days off from posting new photos, to give you a chance to go through all the new ones we upload today. Meanwhile, we'll do some changes in the galleries and put stuff in order (more than before). But, we'll come back on October 1st, to celebrate our second anniversary. See you then *s*.

Yesterday, it was a "must" to have a groceries shopping day, since the fridge was almost empty. Not that we like to spend our days off shopping for groceries, mind you, but we didn't have much of a choice.
So, we drove around town looking for this farmer market Joe heard of, that we've never been to before. It is located at the former Currie Barracks, just off the Crowchild Trail, on 4421 Quesnay Wood Dr. SW, in a converted airplane hangar. The market is open Year round on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am till 5 PM (online site here).
What can we say? That was a nice find indeed! The place has local garden-fresh fruits and vegetables, right from Alberta and BC's fields and orchards. Yummy baked goods fill the air with yummy scents. You can find rich cheeses and delicious meats all over the place from local farms. Darn, on top of it all they let you sample their products, and we sure sampled away!!! ;-).
Furthermore, artists sell variety of crafts there, and sometimes work on them right in front of their customers' eyes. Kids have their own corner to play and have fun while grownups complete their shopping. Lots of vendors sell food to eat right there in the food court. It's a great place to spend the day and get what's needed, in the form of fresh and local goods. For the Calgarians among you - try the place. It's not the cheapest place in town, but it sure worth trying!

Hey you two, sounds like quite a place you have found. I bet you loaded up on Okra and snap beans!

Nnn...no Okra and beans. Some other greenery stuff, and bison ground meat from a farm here in Alberta.

Another photo from our one fall hour in a field close to home the other day. This one was processed a bit more than the usual tweaking... You can see the original + more photos from this shoot on our Flickr page.

We spent one hour in a field close to home the other day. While wandering among the trees, it sure felt like being in the wild. We could hear the wind whispering among the branches, the birds singing vigorously, the sun came in and out beyond the clouds... Gorgeous one fall hour we had, and here's the first photo.

What a beautiful close-up, so detailed and sharp of focus, I also like the color tone of the website, into fall colors.

Doing some experimentation here... I did the processing on this photo Joe took (and few others we might post later), trying to achieve a certain atmosphere, create an idea, which wasn't necessarily in the original photo. How does that photo makes you feel, if at all? What does it looks like? Your feedback is very much appreciated.

Bike riding is one of the things we love to do on our free time. It's fun, keeps us healthy and takes us to interesting places. The photos we post today are from our bike trip two weeks ago. We drove from home to Chestermere along the highway, and drove back along the irrigation canal and through the fields... 43.5 km all together! You can imagine how our poor bums felt afterwards... but it was fun, and challenging! *s*.

Moshe sent in lots of photos from an outing he had to one of Tel Aviv's parks, where an event called Red Bull Flugtag took place a week ago (More about the event later). For now, here are 3 photos he took that day, which demonstrate very well how harsh the sun is and how warm it is on a mid summer day in Israel.

Today we post another series from our trip to the USA on May 2005. All photos were taken on May 14, 2005, at Grafton ghost town (south of Zion National Park), Utah, USA. Post processing: Conversion to sepia/monochrome.
We drove to Grafton after we finished our tour of Zion NP. We found only other 2 people there: A father and his daughter. The guy told us he's been to the place few times, and this time he wanted to share it with his kid.
The road to Grafton was bad, a dirt and rocks road, but it was worthwhile. The old town area sits between the rocks, and the view was just spectacular!
Click here to start viewing the series. We hope you'll enjoy it *s*. In each photo page we added some info about this ghost town you might find interesting.
